FIBER LASERS

Sheet metal fiber laser technology from the Salvagnini perspective.

The First Company to Invest in Fiber Laser Technology

Fiber laser technology has been around for many years. At Salvagnini, our cutting machines are built with this technology because we believe it is a more efficient way way to focus the laser and provide a more precise cut on sheet metal.

Benefits of Salvagnini Lasers

Versatility and Productivity: Both the L3 and L5 are designed to be versatile and productive solutions with reduced consumption and competitive running costs.

TRADJUST: This proprietary function is present in both machines, providing a simple and intuitive multi-interface that allows operators to effortlessly solve any problems they come across in their day-to-day work

Artificial Vision Systems: Both machines are equipped with artificial vision systems for part tracing and identification, which increase the flexibility of the system and broaden its field of application

Adaptive Process Sensor: This feature monitors the piercing in real time for greater speed and higher quality. It also checks for any cutting losses, and in the event of a fault, stops the process and resumes it with suitably remodulated parameters

Automatic Nozzle Changer: Both machines have an automatic nozzle changer, which increases their autonomy in unmanned production

Cutting with Compressed Air: The L3 and L5 are natively set up for cutting with nitrogen and oxygen. The ACUT option extends the possibilities of the machines and allows cutting with compressed air, if suitably treated

THE LASER EVOLUTION

With its progressive shift from a make-to-stock strategy and from the economic batch to a lean, make-to-order, just-in-time strategy, the modern economic and industrial context has been driving Salvagnini’s product development for some time.
